Mentoring a New Teacher

Are any of you mentoring a new teacher this year? Are any of you mentees? I am mentoring a new teacher this year and it is rough! She does not have a deaf education background (but a good strong Birth-Kindergarten/child development background). I would love to swap ideas with someone as to how to best help this new teacher. She is overwhelmed right now and so am I.
