Sounds Getting Louder

Monday December 22, 2003
Sounds Getting Louder - For the last 2 years, I have heard my heartbeat -- distinctly -- in the right ear. One year ago, I mentioned this to my primary care physician who said it was likely due to stress and anxiety and told me not to focus on it. However, over the last 6 months, the beating sound in my ear -- which is my heartbeat -- has become louder. Before, I could hear it only in q very quiet setting. Now, I can hear it over the din of my office and home, driving with the radio on and in other everyday scenarios. Hearing my heartbeat in my ear is starting to drive me nuts! Does anyone here have any advice for me?
