Black Deaf History Book Coming

Today at a deaf funfest in downtown Washington, DC, I picked up a copy of the book Black and Deaf in America. The seller, Pamela Baldwin (I think that's the name) told me that she and Carolyn McCaskill are now working on a new book on black deaf history - interviewing members of the older generation, visiting historic sites, and so on. Expected publication date is unknown - probably in the next couple of years.
