Deafblind Partner, Challenging Relationship

I am hearing sighted, and have been in a wonderful, loving relationship with a man who is Deafblind, for a year.. He is totally Deaf and has a tiny bit of vision. It is a huge challenge and well worth it. I have not had the oppoutunity to talk with anyone who has been in a similar situation. There are so many, many things i am confused about. Sometimes I feel I should not do anything that he cannot participate in, such as movies, shows, etc...
