Concern for HOH Son

I live in Dutchess County, NY and have a ten year old son who is HOH. We have him mainstreamed in school and he has already repeated one grade. Though he now seems to be doing Ok academically, though not excelling, we are getting very conceerned about him socially. He has no other children he knows who are deaf or HOH, or adults for that matter. From all the info I have read this is VERY important. I am concerned about the middle school and high school years that are coming up. Does anyone know of any programs or mentoring services in our area or close? I would appreciate any advice anyone has.
