That’s new to me. SODA. Siblings of Deaf Adults? If that is so, then that doesn’t make sense at all. It would be SODS. Siblings of Deaf Siblings. But I think that’s rediculous.
I have a hearing brother and he’s gonna be called SODS? Hmm… now, that’s funny.

Well CODA never made sense to me either. Child of deaf adults? Why not child of deaf parents?
That’s funny, I’ll have to pop that one on my sister…
LOL… I do understand what you’re saying. It should be CODP instead of CODA. Just like it should be SODS instead of SODA.

Hmmmm, That is interesting. but what about being deaf kids with hearing young sibling? you cannot call them SODA, because they have not become adult, yet. should call them SODK? this is something we should think about. So SODS is better term?
Um….I think you guys missed the point of this post.
Isn’t SODA also “Spouse of Deaf Adult”? Referring to the hearing spouse. This makes more sense, I think.
