Poor Man's Communication Device

Robert writes on the forum (in part), describing an inexpensive two-way deaf-hearing communications setup:
"When I assisted someone in an interview at home, I used an older laptop, an external keyboard, and a monitor, I set it up so that both the laptop monitor and external monitor were able to display the same thing, but not as a dual or multimonitor setup..."
