It is no secret why many senior citizens will not wear hearing aids. LaRonda covers the well-known reasons why in depth in her blog. Best of all, she adds her own point of view that there is another option besides despairing over a hearing impaired senior citizen's refusal to use a hearing aid.

Thanks for the recognition, Jamie. I often blog or vlog on my experiences of being deaf and my journey into deafhood. Still, I’m glad to see other articles on hearing loss, which is different than being D/deaf, as we know. There is a whole other population out there, such as late-deafened people, that also have their own unique journey and needs. Thanks for sharing this with the world.
