In the News: John Tracy Clinic Loses Namesake

Saturday June 16, 2007
The John Tracy Clinic will long outlive the deaf boy it was named for. That deaf boy just died today at the age of 82. The Los Angeles Times published an obituary this evening, and the John Tracy Clinic website has a tribute.

Many of us have benefited from the John Tracy Clinic and its free services, either directly or indirectly. My mother had used information and materials from John Tracy to work with me when I was a baby.

(1) Nancy says:

My mother took their correspondence course when I was about 2 or 3 years old to help me learn how to talk. She earned a certificate after she was done with their free correspondence program.

RIP to John
