World Around You Video on Inauguration

Tuesday December 23, 2008
On a whim, tonight I checked the Clerc Center publication World Around You. The December issue has a video of the teenage host, a senior at the Model Secondary School for the Deaf, interviewing someone on Capitol Hill about the upcoming inauguration. An interpreter accompanies the host, and the video is captioned. Best of all, the inauguration is explained in terms that a young person can understand.

I love how he explained why the inauguration is so long after the election! I didn’t know it used to be in March and because we all rode horses to get places, makes the hassle at the airport look pretty easy, eh? Great Info! Thanks!
