What better way to end the old year than with this story about a born-deaf woman turning 100 years old? (From the Middletown Press, December 29, 2008). One funny thing in this gentle story is about what her grandchildren did to "prove" she could hear.

Why do we have to “fish” to read this story, rather than have it all in one place?
I agree! I love reading these stories, but to have to surf around to find the entire site to find the rest of the story? You click on a story to read, you expect to be able to read it.
