"Red Knee" on the forum has always had bilateral hearing loss, but has now lost more hearing PLUS has multiple other symptoms. Here is the question "Red Knee" posted on the forum, and hopefully someone out there knows what syndrome, if any, these symptoms match. Below is what "Red Knee" posted, unedited:
I have had mild to moderate symetrical bilateral nerve hearing loss since infancy. Possible cause is throat and ear infection. Over the last few years i have developed more profound loss on the left side due to conductive problems. ct and mri are inconclusive but I am subject to pains all down the left from head and particularly in arm. My left knee has severe dry red skin. I feel that its all part of the same picture but no body has been able to hazzard a guess. I am hoping to see a neurologist. Does anyone else recognise these symptoms?
If you know what syndrome "Red Knee" might have, post a response to "Red Knee."
