The online video streaming market is about to gain a new competitor: Epix.
According to the bare bones website, Epix is a joint venture of Paramount, Lionsgate, and MGM. Already, the question being asked by the deaf community on Twitter is "Will Epix have captions?"
I do not give any hoots about Epix since it is a membership-based access! I am with Hulu all the way for their free access!
Will the Epix being another Cinemax channel? Remember the frenzy over HBO’s sister premium channel, “Cinemax” in the early 80s? I dunno know if the Cinemax still going on or not. Starz channel is another fading entertainment channel, too.
