Who's the better lipreader, the human or the machine? It is the machine! Researchers in the UK pitted a group of lipreaders against a computer-based lipreading program. The humans only got 32 percent; the machine? Eighty percent!

I could see the implications of this. So, this machine can lipread better. Well, I’d take this one step further. What about getting it to convert what it lipreads into text???

That means back to square 1, Blimey Im so fed up Lip reading, I couldn’t be bothered anymore, so reading text info from a machine is going back a step as far as I see……..
