"New to HOH" on the forum wrote that they did not realize how loud their television was until they went to a neighbor's house. Apparently, the television could still be heard inside the neighbor's house! New to HOH wants to know if there are any gadgets that can help. I've heard of something called TV Ears. Have you had experience with TV Ears or anything similar? Reply to New to HOH on the forum.

Hi, though I’ve never personally used TV Ears there are a couple of places I’d like to recommend to help with your search.

Harris Communications- http://www.harriscomm.com

ADCO Hearing Products, Inc.- http://www.adcohearing.com

Hear-More- http://www.hearmore.com

These companies have many of the same products, though alot of products vary. You are able to request FREE catalogs from each. Many times, before I place an order, I do a price comparison between the companies. Though there is lots to choice from within the catalog the websites have a wide selection that even include sales.

These companies really helped give me an idea of aids available to me, when I lost my hearing 3 years ago. I hope that they can do the same for you. Take it one day at a time.
