In the U.K., a babysitter almost killed a six year old deaf and blind little girl by leaving her outside all night. In cold temperatures, and the child was poorly clad. The babysitter had been drinking, and when she forgot her keys for her house, she left the child outside and went to her sister's house to sleep. The little girl would have frozen to death if not for being discovered by a bus driver the next morning.

I have to wonder, where were the parents? They were negligent in choosing an irresponsible babysitter, and I can’t imagine that I would leave my child overnight with someone other than a family member. I understand there may be circumstances we are not aware of, but ultimately, parents are responsible for their child’s safety.
That was awful. it’s a miracle the girl is still alive. :/
If someone did that to my child there would be hell to pay.
