Poorer Kids Get Implants, But Have More Problems

Researchers have found that  poorer children do get cochlear implants, but they also have more problems following surgery. Plus, poorer children miss more follow-up appointments. Not surprising, since it can be difficult for low income people to get to doctor's appointments.
