Efforts to Preserve Indian Sign Language

Next week there is a conference on Indian Sign Language. That's as in American Indian, not the country of India. Both deaf and hearing sign language users will be attending this conference.   Conference organizers are trying to preserve American Indian Sign Language for the next generation, as part of their culture.  Very few native Americans continue to use their own sign languages, such as a Pueblo sign language.
