Interpreted Storybooks for iPad

Follow me on:

CNet reports that an award-winning children's book is available as an iPad app, with a sign language interpreter added. The app was developed by the company iStoryTime, which said  it has been so well received they may develop it for the iPhone too. The article is accompanied by a video. Can a sign language interpreted comic book be far behind?

Yes, this is a recommendable innovation, particularly since it is aimed at making learning easier for kids struggling with hearing impairments. There is no reason why it cannot be integrated with iPhone since Apple is already introducing many apps that are aimed at increasing captions for interfaces that text-heavy.
