Analog to Digital Switch Not Always Easy

By , About.com Guide   August 15, 2010

"Old Analog User" posted about his frustration with the sudden forced switch to digital from analog:

"I am having a horrible experience.  First, I am not hearing as well as I did with analog.  I am hearing signficantly less than with my analog and with my analog I heard everything - the tv, radio, cars, etc..  Now I need to turn the tv and radio up louder than I normally wear it and I can't hear environmental/outdoor noises anymore.  Second, all this quietness is making my ears ring, which is in turn is giving me severe headaches and making me sick to my stomach."

Did you have a forced switch from  analog to digital? Did you experience similar problems?  Respond to Old Analog User on the forum.
