Forget Senior Citizens. The Money is in the Teens.

This week's hot hearing loss news media story is about the fact one in five teens has sustained at least some hearing loss. Possibly from too much noise exposure from music players such as iPods and MP3 players. While the news reports that much of this hearing loss is mild, even a mild hearing loss is known to cause difficulties.  Maybe hearing aid manufacturers will stop emphasizing "active adults" on their home pages and start emphasizing teenagers.

Lol, what a marketing switch that would be– from “hear what you’re missing!” to “be hip and hear!”

I’m just funnin’ the HA industry. ;)

We been emphasizing teenagers at several events including one happening today at sunrise and another at sept 2. We print a sheet on hearing loss caused by popular gadgets. We teach them good and we engage them.
