I paid for it in full. My old hearing of 13 years finally up and died on me one day. It was time for a new digital hearing aid.

My son’s were covered IN FULL by my health insurance back at my last company, when I had Tufts health care (7 years ago). It was pretty miraculous (which I didn’t realize at the time). Everything about his aids and his ear molds (replaced every three months when he was a baby) was totally covered, without a question or an argument. Amazing.
