Gallaudet's New Logo

From Jamie Berke, About.com GuideDecember 7, 2011

Follow me on:

When I first saw the new logo for Gallaudet University, my reaction was that I did not like it. It did not seem dynamic enough to me. Then, I read the Washington Post column about it, and now I understand why Gallaudet chose this new logo. It makes sense. While I will miss the good ole "G," times change.

Generally, lot of people, at the first, doesn’t like the logo as myself, I thought it look so cheap. After read the article as you did. Yes, it take a while to figure. However, I feel the design apparently to be too common of have most arch shape.

That logo seems like sports things but not for college logo. Myself I did not like this logo at all. Better to have bison or tower as traditional. I believed old students prefer to have tower than bison. Most of them forgot old history. Good luck for this logo.
