The Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind (CSDB) is in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was founded in 1874 as The Colorado Institute for the Education of Mutes. It started out in a house, then by 1876 it had moved to the present Colorado Springs campus.

The elementary school is divided up by grade levels, from early childhood through the fifth grade; there is also a special needs program and a high school program. The school newsletter is The Colorado Index.

CSDB also hosts the Colorado FM Loan Bank.

Rocky Mountain Deaf School The Rocky Mountain Deaf School is in Lakewood, Colorado and is a bilingual charter school (begun in 1997) on the campus of a regular school. As a charter school, the RMDS relies on fundraising to supplement public funding.
