Connie Briscoe
Q: Do you see your future as being more a writer of soap-operas than as a chronicler of contemporary African American life as described in earlier book reviews?

A: Can't Get Enough has been described as a black "Desperate Housewives." It's considered contemporary fiction and actually based on the inhabitants of a real community in Maryland.

Q: Tell me about your website, hearinginformer.com. Why did you launch this website? What do you hope to accomplish with it?

A: I launched HearingInformer.com in an effort to help others with hearing loss. Due to loud noises and an aging population more people are experiencing hearing loss for the first time. I've coped with it most of my life and think I can be of help by sharing what I've learned.

Q: What can you tell me about Conniebriscoe.com, your personal website/blog?

A: ConnieBriscoe.com is in a state of flux as I change it around. I'm trying to decide whether I can manage a blog given my time constraints or whether I'll go back to a website. I'll decide before the paperback edition of Can't Get Enough comes out in early April.
