Lindsay Dunn - Who He Is :
Lindsay Dunn, an educational program manager at Gallaudet University, was the Special Assistant to the President for Advocacy at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. Before that, he was the Special Assistant to the President of Gallaudet University for Diversity and Community Relations. Dunn is African American and deaf.
Lindsay Dunn's Deaf Experience:
Dunn grew up in South Africa, and attended the Dominican School for the Deaf there. He attended Gallaudet University, graduating in 1985 with an English/Business Administration degree. He also holds a 1987 graduate degree from New York University in Deafness Rehabilitation and Deaf Education. Dunn has also been active with the National Black Deaf Advocates.

Dunn is in demand as a conference speaker and writer on diversity/deaf issues. He has also been a graduation speaker. A typical presentation was "The Black Deaf Experience." Dunn has also discussed deaf education issues. He wrote a blog, "Dunn's Beat," on a deaf professional website.
