I Know Silence

I Know Silence

I know silence,
bacause I'm deaf.
It gives me time to prepare,
to listen with my heart,
not with my ears,
but with my eyes so full of passion,
and of determination,
that I can share with the world.

I know silence,
I've waited so long to hear,
to hear songs so clear,
and I won't have to wonder,
or to cry any more tears,
or to hide from any more fears.

I'll reach into my heart,
and always know that it is OKAY!!!!
TO BE DEAF!!!!!
