If I Could Hear

If I could hear,
it would be a new world for me.
The sounds would be so loud
and clear,
the silence that I've known
would be just a distant memory.

My voice would be understood,
Frustations would be few,
I won't have to ask, " What did you say?"
Acceptance would become a little
easier.
