Question: How do I find a christian/jewish/muslim sign language interpreter
Answer: According to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct, sign language interpreters can not state or make known their religious views or opinions during an interpreting assignment. Interpreters however ARE free to state their religious faith if they are contacted for an interpreting assignment. Customers calling interpreting agencies are also allowed to request interpreters of a specific faith, and it is up to the interpreting agencies as to how to handle the request.

In addition, the RID does not know of any organizations specifically for interpreters of individual religious faiths.
