Audism, in a nutshell, is behaving negatively or oppressively towards deaf people. It is the exhibition of a superior attitude in the vein of "I can hear so I am better than you," or "I am like a hearing person, so I am better than you." What examples of audism have you encountered? How did you respond to the audist behavior?
