Covington and Burling Report on HMB Incident
Tuesday January 16, 2007
The 53 page neutral report on the HMB incident during the now historic Gallaudet protest of Fall 2006 makes it clear that there is plenty of blame to go around on all sides. In the report, student protestors are faulted for their behavior, and the inadequate sign language abilities of the police are pointed out. One quote, from page 35: "None of the three officers assigned to enter HMB on October 6 received any ASL training beyond introductory courses. One of the officers has taken only the most basic ASL course (ASL I) and received a “D” grade."

Were the people who performed the report at all skilled in the use of ASL? Could they directly interview people?
Good question. I would think they used qualified interpreters provided by GIS
WHAT did you say “netural” investigation into the Gally DPS misconducts on Gally protestors?? PLZ!!
The Convington and Burling report had many numerous flaws into their own so-called neutral investigation on Gally DPS misconducts.
What a laughable report ever I read about any law enforcement misconduct(s)? I will post more specific flaws within the report itself.

WHY the enclosed information regarding Convington and Burling, Esquire, was blurred, not the clear-cut print?? Intentionally done on the part of the Convington-Burling law firm???
PLEASE check out the end of this enclosed report and see for yourself!
