Home Health Care for Deaf

Friday March 23, 2007
I received this inquiry but have no answer for them. They are asking about training programs for home health care. Does anyone have a good answer or suggestion?

"Are there any training programs that would train deaf individuals who know ASL, and then place them in specialized home care agencies that would serve patients that are deaf and also are fluent in American Sign Language. Please send me this information, if they exist. We have providers that are interested in this idea.

Thank you for your help."
