Purse With Hearing Aid Stolen

Friday June 26, 2009
Catherine is a hearing aid user in Ireland who lost her hearing aid when her purse (with the hearing aid) was stolen. Now she can not afford to get new ones. So she is trying to find a second-hand hearing aid to buy. While I am familiar with sources of help in the United States, Europe is another matter. How can a person with hearing loss in Europe who needs inexpensive hearing aids get them? Reply to Catherine on the forum if you are familiar with sources of help for hearing aids in Europe.

I’m sorry about the loss of your hearing aids. Are there any Lions Club in your area? They will raise funds for new hearing aids. Worse comes to worst, ask them for advice.

Good luck, Nancy in New York.

I’m sorry about the loss of your hearing aids. I think, since you already have used them (the hearing aids and have all the documents relating them with you, it easier to get cheaper ones in Europe or some where else in the Uk, because of the huge competition between the companies manufacturing the hearing aids.
thanks.
I wish you the best luck.
