Starkey Hearing Aids
Tuesday July 14, 2009
There are so many companies that manufacture hearing aids, that I have only been able to profile a handful so far. The newest one profiled is Starkey. Starkey is a very big company, so big that it does much more than just manufacture hearing aids. I have never had a Starkey hearing aid.
Do you have any experience with Starkey hearing aids? Was your experience a positive one?

i wanted to let u know I sent a message to mark udall…..colorado senator…….and asked to pass the Caption Action 2 bill ..lets see if he replies!
i think i had starky or had a borrowed one while my own was being fixed. I don’t remember liking them at all. I have had danavox, they were alright and lasted me forever (like over 10 yrs, in the ear) i can’t remember the brand of these i have now…digital. it’s late and i am sleepy and I just can’t remember. I also know that beltone wasn’t a very good brand either. mediocre like starky. sorry..not much help, am i? WAIT..Widex is what I am wearing now..it came to me, lol. They are digital behind the ear.
I had them constantly sold by my audiologist, also they do not what they should do. They are very pricy!
I wear Starkey hearing aids and they are the best hearing aids out on the market. I have found that those of my friends who have struggled with Starkey hearing aids was due to the fact that they did not go back for their follow up visits and, therefore, the hearing aids were not adjusted properly. One really should return for 3-4 visits after getting their hearing aids because like any computer, it needs to be “tweaked” to the individual’s ears.
I have Starkey Hearing aids, S Series 5, only 60 days and both are being replaced they are GARBAGE.
No Technology, like using computer from 1978… Very pricey for the lack of quality and technology. Audiologist wants an extra 5,000.00 to sell me Siemens, My audiologist is a rip-off.
This whole hearing game is run by con artists, they see we need and they are ready to steal.
