Tyrone Giordano's Background:
Giordano was born deaf to deaf parents. After graduating from Gallaudet University with his English degree, he got involved in acting by accident.

Before moving to the big screen, Giordano was on stage.
  • Played Huckleberry Finn in Deaf West Theatre's Big River productions in Los Angeles and on Broadway
  • In The Miracle Worker at Washington's Arena Stage
  • First start in a small performance group, Road Signs

Giordano has been in at least two films:
  • A Lot Like Love (plays Graham Martin, brother of a character)
  • The Family Stone (plays Thad Stone, a gay deaf son in a family that uses sign language)
