Did Osteoporosis Cause It?

Had an implant done, it fell out before I even left hospital! Dr said I had soft bone and to get tested for osteoporosis. Will try again in a few months he said. Also the side of my head where the implant was done has lost most of the feeling there! is that normal?? He said it is but not sure as didn't mention it before the operation.

Lost Eight Years

My daughter got CI when she turned 6 years. After a couple of months she spoke 2-3 word sentenses. Then the development stopped and we tried to convince the doctors that something was wrong with her CI but they said that the problem was not the CI but her ability to learn language. The technician who was testing her CI started closing down non-functioning electrodes shortly after she started wearing it. After 8 years only 8 electrodes were functioning and they still tried to convince us that the CI was functioning well. My dauhter was now 14 year and gave up using the CI and was now able to explain why. We then had a meeting with the doctors and they still were not willing to believe that it was not our daughter but the CI which was the problem. We carried out some research about known CI failures and found that many failures of the same type were reported to the FDA. she was then re-operated is now happy for the new CI but too late to learn to understand language and speak.
